Welcome to the Aurora Hills Women's Club!
We are a non-profit community organization in Arlington, Virginia that helps local charities make our community a great place to live. We support charitable organizations that serve people in Arlington. We also provide programs of general interest and education to our members in a social setting.
Thanks to our members and supporters we have provided over $156,000 in donations to local organizations over the past 11 years!
Our tradition over the past several years has been to hold a fundraiser where our talented members design and decorate custom wreaths. Due to the pandemic, we are not able to assemble for this work. Instead, we have partnered with Lynch Creek Farm, which decorates beautiful wreaths, and other holiday greenery. As always, the funds raised will be designated primarily to two charities. The main beneficiary is the Hume School building, which houses the Arlington Historical Museum. For 2021-2022, our second major charity (which changes every year) is Bridges to Independence. Bridges to Independence is a local nonprofit that runs a homeless shelter and provides rental assistance, workforce development, and financial training to low-income people.
Our 2021 Wreath Sale is now open for orders! There are beautiful wreath and decorating options that will be delivered directly to you. Delivery is now nationwide - please share with your friends and family! And, as always, we thank you for your support of our local community.
